Bo Derek as Jane Parker in John Derek's 1981 adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs' Tarzan, the Ape Man.

 

While considered by many to be a silly film it is entertaining in something of a comic book style albeit in an adult manner due to Ms. Derek's frequent (though welcome) habit of losing her clothes throughout the film.

While this film really has nothing at all to do with Victorian British military history the time period of the film as well as the location are more or less correct. In addition - and this is my opinion only - it is no easy task to find someone who looks quite as nice in a pith helmet as Bo Derek did in this film.
