| A truly strange stereo view showing a soldier (bandsman) and a young woman from behind in a bleak winter setting. The card is completely unmarked. The only thing certain is that this soldier was a member of the 1st Volunteer Battalion of the Devonshire Regiment the insignia of which are just visible on his shoulder strap under magnification.
