I am calling this a stereoview of a British Vivandière for the lack of a better title. I doubt very much that this lady was a Vivandière in the true sense. More likely she was costumed for a patriotic event of some kind that took place in the late 1850's or early 1860's. The colour of her tinted dress as well as the style of her sergeant's stripes seem to confirm her as being a British subject. She appears to be wearing a variation of the Albert Pattern Shako.
