Cabinet Photograph The Frühling Studio - Photographer Adelaide, South Australia c. 1903 Wit his apparent youth belying his sergeant rank and veteran status, this rather young looking noncommissioned officer wears the ribbon for the Queen's South Africa Medal and was probably a member of the South Australian Bushmen who was photographed sometime after his return home from service in the Anglo-Boer War. Unidentified, little else can be gleaned for this otherwise fine portrait of this South Australian soldier. |
