Post dating the Anglo-Boer War by several years this cabinet photograph appears to depict a veteran member of the Yorkshire Imperial Yeomanry. He wears a Queen's South Africa Medal with two clasps and what appears to be the Yorkshire Imperial Yeomanry Medal. I have seen examples of the Yorkshire Medal with three ribbon variations: golden yellow, dark blue and combination of a wide golden yellow central stripe flanked by wide dark blue stripes. The ribbon on the medal in this photograph appears to have five stripes which could mean that this is another medal altogether or another ribbon variation to the Yorkshire Imperial Yeomanry Medal.
