This carte is not identified but Soldiers of the Queen Facebook group member Steven Broomfield has been able to attach a name to the photograph - Drummer R. H. "Simmie" Simmonds. Simmonds would serve some thirty years with the London Scottish before retiring in 1912. He would attain the rank of sergeant-drummer.
